Red Devils Evacuation?

Post by Toby42 »

Ok. I give up!! How do you evacuate the 1st Airborne across the river? The evacuation route is shown on the map, but I can't figure out how to use it!!!

Its more of a zone than route. On turns 16, 17, & 18 the 1 ABN can use amphibious transport to cross over (same as 82 Abn can use amphibious crossings to spring the Nejmegan bridges.

To use the amphibious transport you must be along the river line at the start of turns 16, 17, & 18. Each turn progressively more units can cross the river.

The mechanics of amphibious transport is covered fairly well in the manual. It requires understanding several areas in conjunction with each other though.

Think what you really are looking for is a comphensive tutorial session on amphibious transport and landings. I might just have to make one[;)]
