David, question about import/Export of plays

Post by garysorrell »

A league of 12 owners create 12 playbooks with custom plays

They each export their playbook and send the export folder full of plays to the commissioner.

This is a one time deal. This pool of plays is locked down and is all we use for the rest of the season.

From this point on, what is the best way for the league to share these plays? We want there to be a league wide pool of plays.

All owners would have access to the play pool, and would create their weekly playbook from this pool.

Our main concern is with plays and formations overwriting others.

If there are 150 total plays in the league playbook, we want each owner to have these 150 in their plays folder. Would all the importing and exporting start changing the filename of the plays, from PC to PC, or is it constant.

Thanks for any help.

Our main concern is with plays and formations overwriting others.

Plays and formations are time dated, so they should not overwrite each other. Of course, having five split back right formations isn't much fun to go through either.

I hope to have the Plamaker Tools completed with many formations.  That way, the formations will almost all be the same and take much less time to go through in a league file.
