How do I make maps and screen saves like post2?
Just started "gross Deutschland" in Eastern Front and maybe thinking of doing an AAR in future but tis a lot more interesting looking and screens and maps than just reading. Would be grateful for tips and tricks.
Please keep in mind I'm no computer crack so use the KISS with me (Keep It Simple Stupid)
Thanks

Hi,
I just press the "Print Screen" button on the keyboard to capture whatever's on your screen at the time. Then paste into a graphic editing program....I just use good old MS Paint. Save as a JPEG file and you're good to go!

Turn 7:
The enemy Carrier Rifle Section moves away from my paratroopers after firing but is ambushed by a hiding MG platoon...losing 2 of their 3 SPs to the deadly Op Fire...
One of the Carriers is blasted by an 81mm morter, the other two are destroyed by I Platoon led by Captain Geis.
Further south, 2nd Company begins to move out via the highway, and bumps into the Home Guard unit driven out of the Military Camp objective. The exchange of fire results in the British unit becoming disrupted...

1st Company is now only 1km from its objective.
3rd Company is surprised again from another 3SP Home Guard unit....HMG op fire kills 2SPs; para rifle fire finishes it off.
2nd Company has stumbled into a hornet's nest....the village of Beachborough by the Mill is heavily garrisoned. The resulting exchange of fire results in no damage to either side.

Turn 12:
The British Rifle Platoon at Beachborough continues to thwart 2nd Company's advance....
Hopefully a HMG platoon and a salvo of 81mm mortars will help dislodge the stubborn defenders.
I and III platoons break off and advance on the village of Newington.(25VP)
IV platoon, which is garrisoning the Military Camp, is visited by the former garrison.
The disrupted, low morale, out of supply 2SP unit is easily driven off with an SP loss.

3rd Company approaches the village of Apringe, which is guarded by a Carrier Rifle Section and its Carriers. The British infantry unit is fired upon and suffers an SP loss and disruption.
81mm mortar shells disrupted the British defenders at Beachborough. An assault by the Engineers and II Platoon, 2nd Company finally drive them out.

RE: Scenario 1 - July 14, 1940
Turn 14:
The capture of Wintersgate Farm by 1st Company goes exactly as planned. A full-strength Engineer unit is driven out disrupted and demoralized with no loss to the attackers.
I and II platoon will garrison, along with Captain Geis. III and IV platoon, with the HMG platoon, will now move to assist 3rd Company in its drive toward the Hawkinge Aerodrome Hangars.
3rd Company is starting to fall behind schedule. A large minefield has split up the Company right down the middle. Two platoons drive the Carrier Rifle Section from the village of Apringe, while the other two platoons engage a 5SP Rifle Platoon in the village of Pean. The HMG unit moves and is fired upon by two 40mm AA guns which miss their target and are subsequently destroyed.
I and III platoons from 2nd Company discover a minefield directly south of the village of Newington. They will now swing around and attack from the cover of an orchard.
