Is there an odd bug regarding supplies and fuel at Kendari?

I don't know about a bug, but I have been bombing the joint with over 100 bombers, day and night for over two years and I can not get the port to to 100% damage, so the isolated, surrounded, garrison lives on and on and on.

Pen them down with second rate troops and move on.

Remember that Kendari is a large supply center. Unless you destroy the resources the garrison will not starve.

The odd bug I encounter is supplies disappear. I can not keep more than 20K supplies at the base. It is like a blackhole.

If your resources are being gobbled up....check the following things:

1) Do you have lots of land units that are not 100% which are using the resources to fill out?
2) Were the resources destroyed and you have them being repaired?

3) are you playing a mod with a supply drain feature? Or whatever they call it..

I believe Kendari is connected by trails to other bases on Celebes. Could your supply be being drained away to them? Most would be lost to the attrition over the trails before it actually reached the other bases I believe. A base force sitting in Maccassar could well be draining all you supply as little would actually get there (range too far across trails) but the game engine I believe will still send it.

Kendari is NOT a good supply hub because of this. You ideally need a one hex island with airport and port adding up to at least 10 for one of those. Like Palau, Saipan, Kwajalein or Truk. Bases on Timor, Celebes, Davao etc. are not so good.
