So much for the perfect season . Missed most of game till last 10 mins . What class belichek has would`nt even stay on sidelines till was run out the clock. Not a giant fanatic, but love seeing pats loose.

Can't say I'm sad. I mean, I would have liked to see a perfect season, but I'm a Rams fan. I hold grudges. And ever since the 2002 super bowl, I've rooted against the Patriots (especially now with the allegations about cheating at THAT superbowl, too).

Overall a really fun game to watch, especially the last quarter, so you didn't miss much DON [;)] .

Great game - terrible outcome. I'm dissappointed as heck - would have been monumental to see a perfect season. I don't think it will ever be this close again in my lifetime....

Ah darn it! If the Pats were to get beat, it would have been nicer to see them lose to a Bret Farve Packer team...oh well...

...that being said, it was a great storyline to the superbowl and an overall excellent NFL season!

Hats off to the Giants - they earned that win.

It was a fun game at a fun Superbowl party.

No team was ever more than one score away from the lead.

At the end of the game, Bill Belichick had already crossed the field and congratulated Tom Coughlin, and he likely thought the game was over as he went to the locker room. I won't fault him for that. I do believe he should have been suspended earlier this season for his part in the video taping scandal, but that doesn't have anything to do with the game today.

Congrats to the Giants. Glad to see them win it. I've always liked Michael Strahan, one of the few athletes out there with something interesting to say (without being a complete dick), and I'm glad to see him get a ring.

And, on a lesser note, congrats to me...even though I thought the Pats would win, I still decided to play ball with a buddy who bet a hundred bucks that New England would take it. Whatever shall I buy? [:D][:D][:D]

Im a Steeler fan, but was a Giants fan thru the playoffs. Im happy for the Giants, and especially for guys like Strahan, Feagles, and Eli Manning. Hard won, hard fought, and well deserved.

But most importantly for me, im thrilled for Tom Coughlin. I was a Jacksonville resident when they got the Jaguars and have always liked and respected him as a coach and as a man.

I guess it may sound petty, but in this day and age of punk athletes, bling, and head coaches wearing sleeveless hoodies, it's nice to see a disciplined, old school crew come thru with the win.

And my wife is a Dolphins fan. No way could I live with her if the Patsys had taken the true crown from '72 Miami.

I'm a Jags fan, and I grew to HATE Coughlin during his tenure. He has definitely eased up a lot, and for the better. There's nothing wrong with a hardass coach, but SMART hardass coaches back off of a guy once he's proven that they don't need to ride him. Coughlin was unwilling/unable to do that, and he drove away a lot of guys who were good, hard working players.
