Eli Wow.

Eli Wow:)

Well, I have to admit that I never gave Eli Manning a chance since he’s family snob the Chargers football club in 2004 which landed Philip Rivers instead of Eli as the future quarterback of the Chargers. As a Charger fan I was enrage and embarrassed when Eli came up to that podium and just totally snob the franchise that respectfully pick him as the first pick of the NFL 2004 draft, which his father was hoping that his son Eli would be the first overall pick of 2004, but just hoping that any other team BUT the Chargers. Well Eli came up to the podium and did not even bother to put that Chargers cap.

First of all I know his family just wanted to have the best for Eli, so I understood but did not accept, so I hated Eli and Archie, man did we really gave it to Eli on that first meeting
In Qualcom Stadium, But as I recalled Eli could not even face the crowds but he remained
Quite and calm and not once he mocked the crowd.

So enough said and done, as I see the Chargers season go down the drain. I found myself watching the NFC Championship game, men what a game! I followed the Giants
Thru out the playoffs but not as a choice but for reasons, I was in Florida visiting relatives and yes Tampa Bay so guess what I was watching on TV.My co worker a big Cowboy fan invited me to his Cowboy playoff party so guess what was on TV:).
So there I ended following the Giants thru out the playoffs (I hated that) But for one thing
That Eli Manning was very focus and consistent and I was getting impress by it. But I kept slapping my face to snap out of it.

This Super Bowl is the best I have ever seen. WOW! Seeing Elis face it’s like seeing a child’s first visit to an amusement park:)

Just to further my long Paragraph I wanted to share some of the chargers voice of the fans.

BETTER THAN BEST: For the past two months, I've been hearing that the New England Patriots may be the best team ever. Does that mean that the New York Giants are better than the best team ever? Just wondering.
NO DATE WITH DESTINY: As much as it pains me to see Eli Manning hoist the Lombardi Trophy, I was glad to see Bill Belichick and his film crew walk away losers.
BRADY STRIPPED OF POWERS? I'm sorry, but it just doesn't seem fair to Tom Brady. First he is being touted as possibly the best ever. Then on the biggest game of the year, possibly the biggest in his career, all the flak raised by “Spygate” causes his crystal ball to disappear. “SpyGate” caused him to appear, well, normal.
TRADEMARK THIS: So I guess New England's trade marking “19-0 The Perfect Season” was a bit premature. Hopefully they got “18-1 The Imperfect Season” as well.
LT WAS RIGHT: It took over a year to see it, but LT's description of Bill Belichick as “classless” was correct. Leaving your team on the field with one play to run while he runs off the field is nothing but classless! Belichick runs the score up on teams, but when he loses he cannot take it.
SORRY FOR SEAU: The only thing bad about the game was that Junior Seau didn't get his Super Bowl win. He's still one of the best linebackers to ever play the game.
A LESSON FOR ALL: What a great game! This is a lesson for children of all ages. Winners never cheat, and in the end cheaters never win!

And last
ELI IS OK: When I was a boy, my mother always told me that cheaters never prosper. Well, Eli Manning proved it to us, all right. I wish I could tell Mom today that yes, “Cheaters never prosper.”

Last Note: I see you guys are enjoying the Merenge Stadiums series that I have build.
Just wanted to let you all know that I appreciated it .I have a few more but
Can’t say when I will be done or if ever, I just got to find some time.

I'm totally with you, local8h. I was annoyed with Eli's conduct during his draft year, but I find that I don't mind him at all anymore. And the last time I remember seeing a quarterback that intensely overjoyed to win the big one, it was probably Elway (who ALSO demanded a trade when the then Baltimore Colts took HIM #1 in 1983...how we forget such things :) ).

As for a few of your later points, no, the Giants aren't the best team ever. And in truth, in terms of pure, overall talent, they weren't the best team in that game. Doesn't take anything away from them...the best team doesn't always win, the team that plays the best GAME wins. Look at the Pats the first year they won...in no way did they have more talent than the Rams, but they beat them by playing better football.

Belichick has always been an insufferable jerk, so that's hardly news. [:D]

As for Brady, I don't think it had anything to do with loss of film, it had everything to do with the giants pass rush throwing him around for 4 quarters. You can be the best QB in the league, but if you don't get time to pass, you aren't going to do much.
