AA USAGE

Post by R.E.LEE »

I find anti aircraft guns to be best used in ground operations, with heavy armour,i never use them with consideration of air strikes, small AA are good for soft and heavy AA i use as a tank. How do others employ AA?Also i find light tanks very useless, what role suits them best, they seem best used as scouts,or against weak infantry in the open.

A few well placed small AA 20mm and concealed in a treeline. with soft targets applied, with min range of 3. Perfect Ambush setting in conjunction with a LMG as well as a inf platoon. It will definately give you time to group up re-enforcements and move to that trouble area. On Heavy AA I use them totally against Armor. If Visibility is very low I keep them out of harms way until the next scenario. I place them in bunkers in concealed areas with a MG section. A mortar Section within 3 Hexes, and Transportation out of sight and hidden that is close by.
