Thanks Eric, but....

I got the game installed thanks to your advice but it will not start. The startup movie runs then crash to DT. I'm thinking of wiping the hard drive clean of this game and starting over. The longest, most difficult installation I have ever experienced with a game. Is there a thread somewhere that tells how to get this game going. Please advise. ( this makes one really appreciate Gary Grigsby and Norm Koger)

I'm guessing you've disabled the movie in the configuration set-up?

I'd also try renaming it, or moving it altogether somewhere else.

I didn't have a problem with installation at all.

Not belitteling your issue, just pointing out it's not a feature of the game that the installtion doesn't work.

Some people have had trouble with the video though. One thing you may want to know (if you don't) is there is a seperate exe file in the game directory for configuring the game (just some basic settings and, yes, I also hate when devs do this...much rather they put the setup in the main game...or at least provide a shortcut to it on the desktop)

Thanks to all who responded. Got it running. Trying the tutorials now. Are there any issues there to look out for? For some reason in the 2nd tutorial I could not drag and drop the units to create a movement path. Weird.

Just that the "soft spot" for selecting units is very small
