Brit Army punted back to England

Post by balto »

These little buggy things and house rules (Uxbridge helped with that) are driving me crazy?

I was in a PBEM as Allies and I had 6-7 British Army Units on the continent. Germans attack, next turn, ALL Brits are punted into the Deploy Screen.

What in the heck is that all about?

Were the punted British units located in a country that surrendered? If so, they are placed back into the deployment pool.

Whoa, you are on to something. They were in Belgium when it fell.

That must be it. But that is screwed up.

So if Germany grabs Paris, does that also kick the Brits back to England.., and Yugo and Greece..,etc..,

If so, that has to be fixed. That is just goofed up.

Represents an evac, I guess. Another abstraction that you just have to accept. Look at it like this, your plans were disrupted and you'll have the new cost of transporting those forces.

Of course the better way would be to leave those forces in place, but I doubt the programming for that can be done at this point.
