Long Distance Naval Movement

This revised and updated turn-based grand strategy game from the team at AGEOD brings players back to World War I, including both the Eastern and Western fronts and over 4 campaigns and 10 scenarios. As either a member of the Central Powers, the Entente or a neutral nation, players will confront the epic gauntlet of military and political challenges that faced the likes of Kitchener, Joffre, Luddendorf, Clemenceau, Czar Nicholas II or Enver Pasha.

Long Distance Naval Movement

Post by DrewMatrix »

How do I move a fleet a long distance around the globe?

From the Pacific to the Atlantic, or Australia to the Indian Ocean or South Atlantic to English Channel?

Thanks in Advance

Hi, yesterday night I fixed a regression bug that prevented moving fleets from the Indian/Pacific Ocean to the rest of the world. Next patch... [8D]

Great. I thought it was me <G>.

I'm sure you've considered this, but there will be a difference between "Panama Canal Open" and "Panama Canal Closed" in that patch, right?

The "Panama Canal Open" should make naval path shorter, because you don't have to move throughout the Cape Horn.
So do you mean this feature does not work now? I'll check asap, thanks.

Well, more accurately _I_ couldn't move a fleet from the Pacific to the Atlantic but the reasons I couldn't do that could be legion, including ineptitude <G>

You can move into the Panama box. But you cannot move from the mini-map to Europe map, nor can you move from Med past Gibraltor or from Atlantic past Gibraltor.
