So. Is this a spiritual successor to Panzer General?

With simple, yet deep unit statistics, hex movement, and unit sizes of 10?

EDIT: Though, I wonder about the choice for 3D Hex Maps and 3D Units.

While it makes the game look sexier, it does limit expansion potential of the game engine; unless someone is sitting on loads of low poly 3d models of all the equipment of WWII [:D]

I would say the comparison to Panzer General is actually a good one in terms of gameplay.
