Where can one find the files to modify the event description texts? I can add an effect to an event, but don't know how to add new text to the event's description.

You can insert event description directly into XML file where event is placed, just replace description ID between <description> and </description> (description ID is for example "<description>ZID_12001_desc</description>" - you can change it to "<description>Eagles are large birds of prey which are members of the bird family Accipitridae, and belong to several genera which are not necessarily closely related to each other.</description>"). It is the only correct way to change event description
