PC KHARKOV (Revisited!)

Post by ceb2 »

Bought this game when it was first released. It coincided with my getting back into PC gaming after almost a decade of not playing any games at all. It was one of the first games I purchased, and I don't think I was ready for it at the time.

Recently, I re-installed it on a new PC gaming rig and I've got to say I'm enjoying the hell out of it, so much so that I just purchased PC OWS and installed it to get all the benefits of both titles merged.

PC Kharkov is the ONLY turn-based (WEGO) I own. All of my other WWII titles are RTS. I'm enjoying the change of pace this game provides and the attention to detail you guys have lavished on this title. I usually don't like turn-based games, but something about Kharkov's WEGO system works for me. I particularly like viewing the action while moving the camera around the map, gives me that feeling of "being there."

I'm really looking forward to the upcoming update. Hopefully, it will be coming soon. Just wanted to say keep up the good work and thanks for this game!

As far as turn-based games go, WEGO is the only way to go.
