Best to watch video tutorial 4, and read section 6.4 in the manual (assuming you own the game).

The Manual does a good job explaining initiative and how it is obtained by TC, AC and leaders in a region with either. If you have questions after you have viewed the tutorial and read the rules, forum users will be pleased to help.

Bought it yesterday and dived straight in. Just thought I may as well learn while Im at work to save time. Will check out the video and open pdf when I get home
