I saw this someplace, and I forget where, but is this the same game Matrix carries? Is Matrix going to offer this version?

Its the regular game plus mods minus licenced content. Only 17€ in steam so its a bargain.

I'm still wondering if Matrix is going to offer this version here? I don't like using Steam if I can avoid it.

I like it. I have the one from here too but never got around to installing the bman mod. The mod is included and integrated nicely in the setup menus. I am glad I got it. I understand people's misgivings/hesitations about Steam but in the years I have used it, there has only been once I had issues playing a game and it was temporary.

The game may show up on Gamersgate or elsewhere after a while.

The Gold version was like $4.99 at Direct 2 Drive during holidays you might want to wait for some repeat sale.
