how to stop production?

This sequel to the award-winning Crown of Glory takes Napoleonic Grand Strategy to a whole new level. This represents a complete overhaul of the original release, including countless improvements and innovations ranging from detailed Naval combat and brigade-level Land combat to an improved AI, unit upgrades, a more detailed Strategic Map and a new simplified Economy option. More historical AND more fun than the original!

how to stop production?

Post by Pistachio »

Dumb question - can you "undo" a production order? Somehow I've got the landlocked Russian province of Kovel building a fleet. I won't say how ridiculous it is for this to even be possible. :) Don't know what I clicked, I just know I inadvertently clicked on the screen somewhere and this was the result. Just want to know how to undo it.

Redue the turn. [:D] You can try the back key to attempt an undue. It works for movement-maybe with builds too.

I would imagine everyone has done that at least once-accidentally starting production.

I did it recently by double clicking (no reason to double ) in the province list to go to the province. I went there and, with the second click, started to build something (improvement) that was ridiculous-like a level 5 fort in Timbukto.

Banking establishments are more dangerous than standing armies.

Backspace didn't work for builds.  Well, it might, but if there are too many intervening orders it will eventually lose track.  Easy to undo moves, but eventually I start getting messages like "Undo *#@$)!_)~" and that's when I know I've hit the Wall.  BTW production on the fleet continues, the fleet is produced, and of course you can't sail it anywhere. :)  So I just disbanded it and am trying not to cry about the resources wasted.

Good to know I'm not alone, though! :)  Think maybe mine was a double-click, too.  No reason to do it, just my hands and fingers are getting older I guess. :)
