HARD Sarge vs Nicko BIG WEEK
old Cannon boy, finally gave in a offered to give me a dubbing
so we trying Big Week (he wanted BoB)
so while a AAR and PBEM game, it is also a test run, so may be interesting
Big Week, as you may know, was when the USSAAF went out and tried to knock out the LW, in the air on the ground and in the factories, they did a decent job of it (with out know how well of a job the Germans would be able to do, to come back from the blow)
so, my job is to try and knock out as much, air related factories as I can, and try to do more damage to the LW then the LW can do to the USSAAF
the map is a shorten model, and only the VIIIth and XVth airforces are used for the Allies
(a couple of IXth FG are in the game, they were used by the VIIIth for extra fighters when needed in real life)

RE: HARD Sarge vs Nicko BIG WEEK
with all of the recon raids going out, I won't bother with a screen of the plotting
but, over all, for the first day, I am going to work over France
the Paris area has some good targets around it, two Large BB sites, some EFAC and CFAC
plus it takes me out of his main defence, he wants to fight, he going to have to chase
later on, I will hit the coast, going for a Chem plant and a CFAC
late in the afternoon, will raid a Arm plant, which should allow him to finally get the main part of his forces into action
in the Med, starting out small, a few raids into the Balkins, a raid into the northern IT plains, and one down the middle
hopefully, enough to keep him busy

okay first day is over, much more weather then I expected
Nik's fighters got in early and bypassed the fighters, doing some decent damage, before my boys started to react
I caught some of his Jabos and trainers

RE: HARD Sarge vs Nicko BIG WEEK
if I hit, got about 38+ points of EFAC targeted
of course, those are some ruff targets to get
my decoys in the north, main idea is to try and draw in some of the Reich defence forces and get the front line French forces into the air, before the main raids begin, if he don't fall for the bait, I be happy if I hit my targets, so a win win set of decoys
(those are the best kinds of decoys, if they take a pounding and miss there targets, oh well, or if they don't and hit, oh boy)

RE: HARD Sarge vs Nicko BIG WEEK
ran into more clouds over the main target, one group went for the 2ndary target and plastered it (good size Chem plant) the other tried to bomb though the clouds, and pretty much missed
overall, looks like the plan worked, Niko, sent up a lot of his twins, and some nightfighters, but my 38s and 51s can go deep too
here is the summery results at the end of day two

the target list after day two
not doing anything major to any one target, but, have started to hurt a number of them, nothing that is going to be really harmful for the next week, but down the road, it will start to cause issues
