Opening movies not displayed

I'm seeing this in SoP and ToW. The opening movies are black but I can hear the sound. The game itself is working. Any ideas as to why that is?

Windows 7
Intel® Core™ i7-740QM processor
NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M

Does it work when you play them in any movie player?

Doesnt work in the demo for me.

When I play intro 1 with Div X it works.
Intro 2 gives me the message -"This video is in an unsupported format and cannot be played without installing additional DirectShow filters."
Intro 3 works fine.

So it seems there is something with intro 2 thats causing the issue.

Here are my results with SoP avi movies just double clicking on them and opening them with default Windows Media Player

intro (Wastelands) YES
intro2 (Matrix Games) NO. sound only.
intro3 (game trailer) YES
credits YES

Results with ToW movies.

intro (Wastelands) YES

credits YES

Also I tried to play the credits. They do not show video either. Only sound. It justs looks like it stays at the main menu until you hit "esc" for both SoP and ToW. If that helps you any.
