Map Modes

This revised and updated turn-based grand strategy game from the team at AGEOD brings players back to World War I, including both the Eastern and Western fronts and over 4 campaigns and 10 scenarios. As either a member of the Central Powers, the Entente or a neutral nation, players will confront the epic gauntlet of military and political challenges that faced the likes of Kitchener, Joffre, Luddendorf, Clemenceau, Czar Nicholas II or Enver Pasha.

Map Modes

Post by decaro »

Hopefully I'm not color blind, but the different map modes are not nearly as clear and as helpful as in past AGEOD titles.

The WW1 map seems so awash in colors that I have a hard time distinguishing sides in the political mode; in fact, there are so many details on the map, I'm experiencing "information overload".

Take a look at Gardner's how-to on lightening the map colors.

I gave mine 1.5 gamma adjustment instead of 2.5 so it wasn't so washed out, but it's not difficult to adjust, just takes a little time copying an extra set of map regions.
