Invading troops icons in colony detail window went very tiny ROTS 1.05.08

Post by cookie monster »

It's me again...again!

I had a very hard colony to take over with 60 Haakonish troops behind a fortified bunker.

When I landed over 100 troops the colony detail window would not show the landed invading troopers versus the defenders. The troop icons went tiny and the battle could not be followed. The only indicator available was the planets population was getting smaller.

I include a picture of the display.

I fast forwarded the game and thought the battle was bugged cos after a year the colony was not conquered, after a year and a half the battle was won. I know you slowed down battles but 243 Elite troopers should be able to beat 60 troopers behind a fortified bunker quicker.

The troop display remained tiny until I had removed some of my troops from the planet.

Could you fix the display please?

I uploaded the save to the server it's called ''Untakeable Planet''.

Only bonuses are troop academy makes 50% stronger troops, Troop coloning facility clones your strongest troop max 30,000 strength. Can be temporarily higher due to promotion after succesful invasion.

Native population helps to defend during battles where you have defending troops the pop must be in the billions or something though.

No terrain bonuses.

For racial bonuses see the manual

From the manual Game concepts Troops
Strength and Readiness

Each race has a natural strength for its troops. This strength is determined by the races aggression and intelligence levels –more aggressive and intelligent races will produce stronger troops.

Ugnari's,Gizurean,Ackdarian troops suck at 9000 strength. Best warriors are probably the Naxillians. Apart from the ''ultimate enemy'' that is.

I just unloaded over 300 troops on my home world the display also goes tiny then. I guess the program can't represent large numbers of troopers.
