Modified combat value?

Hey guys. Ive been looking through the manual, just for a solid explanation and detailed list of combat modifiers. It seems quite scattered. Can anyone point me to a page in the manual or a link that would explain what each modifier does exactly?

For example, I know that (i think) if you attack something with a quick attack, it will be modified as -50%.

Where is there a comprehensive list of modifiers I can quickly look over?

Do you guys just "eyeball" the odds? Educated guesses when planning an attack?
