Didn't see it, because it got such poor reviews.

Sounds like it's not as bad as that movie I will not name about the Dec 7th surprise Japanese attack on an American love triangle, but looks pretty cheesy

It may have a few Cheesy "Star Wars on Steroids" moments...Lucas could have done without some of the cheesiness...but it was a good flick. Saw it first weekend it opened.

If you saw "The Tuskegee Airmen" produced some 20 years ago, it focused on the struggle to get the Tuskeegee Airmen into combat. Red Tails focuses on combat. Some of the best CGI air-to-air scenes ever done IMHO.

My Dad was a B-17 bomardier flying with the 8th Air Force, so I went to see how they depicted the bombers. And it did a good job there. But the struggles to get the 332nd into front line combat was the focus on this movie. And unlike the HBO made Tuskeegee Airmen, this film had a dozen or so of the still living members of the 332nd involved in production.

Well worth the money. For more information go to http://www.facebook.com/#!/RedTails . The page is full of facts and interviews with the original Tuskeegee Airmen.

And there is gun cam footage from Roscoe Brown's P-51 shooting down an ME-262...way cool.

There is no problem too big that can't be solved with the proper use of high explosives
