He was one of my favourite characters in Band of Brothers (along Lewis Nixon). Pity that his very impressive post-war career got less publicity after BoB (book and miniseries) came out.

Couldn't agree more, he gave a life time of service to your country and the world. After watching Band of Brothers I took special interest in his post war career especialy as the prosecutor of Sirhan B Sirhan after the assasination of Robert Kennedy. A life well lived and an example to all.
