Autosave

Post by LiquidSky »

This isn't really a problem per se, more of an accident really....

Okay, it really was all me, but thought I would share this here anyways...

I accidently sent the autosave.dc2 instead of my PBEM save to my opponent. When we play, we log into my Ventrilo server, so we can talk about the game, life, the universe and everything...so when he opened up the turn....

No password, just loads my turn at the point of being finished. With all my stuff there for him to see.

How embarrassing.

He thought it was kind of funny, though, and promised to delete the file.

Damn russian spies.

Probably no need to 'correct' the problem, since the autosave shouldnt be emailed anyways, but thought I would mention it, incase somebody else gets caught by it.

On the bright side, I didnt know the autosave saved my turn at the end like that, and it will make writing an AAR easier. In fact, I can probably turn off screenshots in the prefs, as I can leisurely peruse the map, looking for ideal shots to take.
