Replay File - Sharing?

This exciting new release is a faithful adaptation of the renowned Conflict of Heroes board game that won the Origins Historical Game of the Year, Charles Roberts Wargame of the Year and the James F. Dunnigan Design Elegance Award, as well as many others!

Designed and developed in cooperation with Uwe Eickert, the original designer of Conflict of Heroes, and Western Civlization Software, the award-winning computer wargame studio, no effort has been spared to bring the outstanding Conflict of Heroes gameplay to the computer. Conflict of Heroes includes an AI opponent as well as full multiplayer support with an integrated forum and game lobby. To remain true to the core gameplay of the board game, the PC version is designed to be fun, fast and easy to play, though hard to master. The game design is also historically accurate and teaches and rewards platoon and company-level combined arms tactics without overwhelming the player with rules.

Replay File - Sharing?

Post by junk2drive »

How can someone play the replay file after the battle?

I played one of Jamm's battles and would like to give him the replay file to view the action.

There isn't really a replay file as such, but if you save the game right before it ends, then someone should be able to load the game, end it, and watch the replay.

I tried loading some older replays listed on the save game screen and they fail. Do we have to go into the folder and delete old files?

What is the name of the file you are looking at? Does it have a .CohSave extension or something else?

In Documents\WCS\COHATB\Save are nameofbattle.gameResult files from the last 3 days fights.

There are also the .CohSave files.

The gameresult files aren't replay files -- they just store your score and things like that. The replay data just should be part of the save game file (the .CohSave files).

You can take afew screens each turn and the final score screens and send them to me.
And a note on how it played for balance and any thoughts

Any feedback is appreciated
