SOP (on/ff)

Post by Joselillo »

Hello,

I just purchased the game, which I am seeing is more good than I expected. I'm with the manual now. I have a doubt in this part:

SOP
Units have three SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) choices: Standard, Aggressive, and Cautious; these affect how your units act and react. Combined with the experience level of the unit, and some randomness, a unit will continue to follow orders, halt, or withdraw when faced with contact with the enemy. Remember: gold-colored orders are not global. To issue the a SOP choice to the entire platoon, select the Commander, open the orders menu, then press and hold the Shift key then click the button to force the platoon to use the same choice. Note that SOP must be turned on from the Options menu to use this function.

SOP: default is disable options, my question is, to play in a more realistic, I turn it on?
Thank you.

best regards

Thanks,

I just read it, I see it more realistic activating SOP. I guess the multiplayer games are played activating sop.

Best regards.

I agree with Jafele, I prefer to play with SOP and I think it is more realistic and also gives you more flexibility.
