Holy lack of marketing.

Can the beta's talk?

Does the game theme draw you in?

Can the A.I understand all the game mechanics and threaten the player with solid attacks land,air and sea.Can it use diplomacy intelligently.Getting allies to protect flanks,etc?

Is there good imagination in the tech tree,ala AC.

How many planet creeps and can they win?

Is there espionage or a planetary Council? Not seen those in the youtube vids.

I can sympathize with them being busy, but yeah, posting outside their "beta forums" would be appreciated.

I hope they post something on the 14th. I don't care if they miss the deadline, but if they miss it silently I have no idea when I will come back to check the forums again. Let alone remember "Oh yeah, I wanted to buy that game". Honestly, the biggest threat to me buying this game is simply forgetting that it exists.

Certainly some after action reports and in-game anecdotes would revitalize my interest.

There will be a new trailer with the release and all that jazz.

Slitherine is keeping the NDA up until Thursday, but you can take a look at an AAR, check a preview or read through the story manual in the meantime.

the game will be releasing later today. We have been releasing regular updates via the site, Facebook, Twitter and forums. The previews have been coming in too with a great one just posted over at Digital Gambit:

You wont see posts from the betas or developers though as the dev team are busy and the betas are prohibited from posting and in addition the Beta is being run on the Slitherine forums so if they do post it is more likely to be there.
