Upgrading units

Although I appear to have designed a new Seeker ATV with armour I cannot upgrade to it. The OK button is greyed out?

At the right you see that the gold cost to upgrade (36) is red, meaning you do not have enough cash :-)

Won't have had to post this if I had a manual to explain it.

While a manual would be nice, the game itself is quite self explenatory. I mean see at your pic, al the text is white exept for the cash symbol and the number 36 next to it, that is in red. It isnt that hard to figure out the meaning of that without a manual?

There should still be a manual. Heck, when I buy a pillow it comes with instructions on how to wash it.

No manual is just lazy. As much as can be explained in the tooltips, apparently not everything is, because there have been lots of questions in this forum.

In the upper left corner of the game screen it show the amount of resources your empire has available.
Food, minerals and gold. Since the screenshot shows the amount in red I suspect the gold available to you is less.
