Just come across another really great doc for BAOR in 1989.

It's on Comsimworld and the direct link is here:

Hope this helps,

This is a must have book for BAOR, given the battalion level rotation system finding out which unit was where is 'annoying', this book is one of the (if not THE) most accurate source.

www.rgsinfo.net/subject/ccf/Scripts/Arm ... tampt3.pdf

Dated 1999 but the majority is valid for the late 1980's,

Check out the 'SURVEILLANCE SYSTEMS - PASSIVE DEVICES' (PDF page 99)
TI OTIS -LOS beyond 3,500 - 1 per FOO pty. 1 per close/ Armd recce sect

I've found a army "OTIS equipment handbook" dated Nov 1985, which suggests that OTIS was on issue to frontline forces late 85 or early 86 - might have to update scimitars and scorpions to include TI.

You can search for TAM P1 and P2, type "Tactical Aid Memoire", and look for links to www.rgsinfo.net

The other big source is the "Staff officers handbook" but I've only found a 1999 online version at http://www.scribd.com/doc/60878592/Staf ... ook#scribd
