Mouse pointer disappearing

When I save the game with one unit still selected, the mouse pointer disappears. The mouse pointer is hidden, I can see the number of movement points available for the selected unit when I move the mouse, but I can't see the small arrow itself.
I must press the "escape" key (to deselect the unit) to see the pointer again.

It can be annoying if I move the hidden arrow on the buttom "Game" (I can do that since I can guess its position thanks to the movement points displayed) and press it to select "Exit Game". I get the new window asking me if I really want to escape the game. But I can't do anything else, the mouse pointer doesn't seem active anymore. I have to quit the game thanks to Ctrl+Alt+Suppr.

I use the current v106 and it has already happened with the v106 beta;

Unfortunately, this problem was reported a long time ago, but hasn't been fixed, yet. IIRC, if you press ENTER to save it, the mouse cursor will disappear. If you click on the Save button with your mouse in the Save Game dialog box, the mouse cursor will stay visible.

Yes, I can't seem to duplicate this issue here, but it has been reported before. However supposedly the mouse pointer returns when you alt tab out and then back into the game, so try that if this happens again. I'll move this issue back up to the top of my list and try one more time to see whether I can duplicate it. I can also try forcing the mouse back to active after the save game sequence is completed.
