Landscape bug / Can't see trees

The hex my mouse is over, right there in the middle marked by the black X, cleary counts as forest but I cannot see any trees on it. It is still blocking my line of sight though.

The scenario this happened in was a generated battle.

In the game scenarios folder, you should see a bunch of Random* files. Please consider creating a ZIP of those files and sending it to: robert [dot] osterlund [at] comcast [dot] net.

This same thing happened to me; it is random battle in the Sinai in February 67. When the game loaded I got a bunch of error messages to the effect that the files with "snowy trees" (or something like that) couldn't be found.

Ah, thanks for reporting that very critical clue. That's it! We didn't include any snow terrain files with the game, for I think obvious reasons. Evidently the random battle generator code isn't smart enough to know not to create maps with anything snow-related. We will try to fix that for ME 1.01.
