Generals Edition

I used to play this game all the time. However, once the resolution went to 800x600, I found it enjoyable.

With the General edition, will the resolution be 1920 x 1080 ?

I also have a 32" monitor

What about the mods, they work in General edition?

Generals Edition doesn't increase the resolution. Matrix has not given G.E. any love whatsoever. Crap, it doesn't even work (crashes) when using Command & Control, a basic game function.

Each of the Mega Campaigns (which comprise the G.E.) was created in an older version of the game, they vary in which version. They won't work with the latest game versions, such as Enhanced or 2016 because the Megas are NON-EDITABLE.

So if you're looking to play with the best experience, i.e., Command & Control, forget the G.E. (This was a HUGE disappointment for me when I bought G.E.)

IMHO, Matrix doesn't have the right to ask more than $5.00 for G.E.
