At what point does the AI "use" both the AI advantage in units and the "general" AI boost in ratings? As I see it there are two ways to enhance the AI prior to commencing the game;by enhancing the units skill ratings in encrements of 10% and by giving the AI more units in general. I use the other settings too, but these can be changed in mid-game. I'd like to know at what point the program selects the AI units because there are multiple times to save a campaign prior to the next battle. I'd like to save at the point after I've selected my units and prior to the Ai selection. Then if the ensuing fight doesn't go my way and/or its a pushover, I can reset the AI by a higher percentage and/or give the Ai more units with that button. I'm searching for the balance with the buttons that will give me a hard fight with many casualties. I'd like to separate those buttons that act prior to the fight(e.g. AI advantage,true troop cost and AI units bonus) from those that impact within the fight. I believe these 3 buttons should have their own section. Hell AI XXX is in with the msg/move delays/times and whatnot. While the computer unit advantage button is above the Op fire confirm option or somesuch. Not complaining it jsut would be more in line to have these prefight OOB-type buttons together.some clarity from someone?
