Can anyone help me out??

Post by AUY2K »

I am having trouble unzipping the patches and adding them to UV(I have UV version 2.00.) I keep getting an error message just trying to unzip patch 2.10. I have been struggling with this problem for two days now and I have about had it.

If I send anyone a CD-R could you possibly save the the patches on CD and mail them back to me? I will pay for all postage.

If you could help me out please email me.

Thanks,
Dave

If you are getting error messages trying to unzip the patch, then you either did not get the complete patch downloaded OR your zip tool is too old for the format used.

Download Page

Check the file sizes against this page. This is where the links I game you point to. If the size is correct, then your internet connection is not the problem.

Where abouts are you Dave?
While the battles the British fight may differ in the widest possible ways, they invariably have two common characteristics – they are always fought uphill and always at the junction of two or more map sheets.

After many hours of downloading (56k) and using the advise and help from fellow posters I was able to upgrade to v2.11. Tonight I will be up to v2.20.

Thanks for the help!!

Good. Please note that there is a PATCHES folder in the UV game directory. You should have copies of all teh patches you'll installed in there. It would be a good thing to back up.
