How's the AI time now?

Post by gtrpastor »

I purchased Order of Battle back when it first came out. I enjoyed the game but I got frustrated with the amount of time the AI used to take its turn. At the time I was using an older processor, so I thought that's what it was. Then I bought a new computer with a faster CPU, and reinstalled Order of Battle, along with updates. Again, the AI was choking...it was taking forever to take turns. At times it seems like the PC freezes up, and I have to go get a cup of coffee, take a shower, stand in line at the DMV, and hopefully the AI would be done. The newer CPU didn't seem to change things at all.

That was about a year and a half ago. I'm curious as to whether or not AI turns have gotten better now. I see that there are lots of DLCs I might consider purchasing, but if the AI turn keeps stalling I find it simply unplayable.

Here are my specs:
i7 6700K @ 3.4 GHz
16 GB RAM
Win10 Pro (ver 1803)
2 TB Hybrid Drive (Seagate FireCuda)
NVidia 750 Ti

I believe this issue is sorted, it is for me. However, it might be wise to wait and see what others say.
