It's there, but only for a two player game. And it's not bug free, but if you make a lot of gamesaves on the way, you should do well.

after you buy:

stil there is nbo netplay and no play at all!

Have been playing Netplay now for a few months. Yes - we are reloading 1 -3 times in each session of a couple of hours (it can get out of sync, esp. if the non-active player browses e.g. the pools). We enjoy the possibilities however!

I am playing netplay and is causing Many bugs and delays but they are Being solved. Now you can play this game with netplay ,with Many issues but they are being solved. You just need to have patience and an opponent with patience also and ability to play. Playing netplay requires Two player with a minimum of one hour available when online and waiting Many timeS . For me its worth it even flaws
