Question about smoke

Hi. I have tried firing smoke from AFV s and sometimes I dont get a smoke result.
The result is normal fire? It seems that although smoke shows as an option in the display window for the AFV,it is not really available for that unit.

It could be down to several reasons that Smoke doesn't appear. You could for instance have missed the target, run out of Smoke rounds for that ordnance or some vehicles have time limits when they were equiped with smoke rounds or not.
