Locked in Current hex

The new Cold War turned hot wargame from On Target Simulations, now expanded with the Player's Edition! Choose the NATO or Soviet forces in one of many scenarios or two linked campaigns. No effort was spared to model modern warfare realistically, including armor, infantry, helicopters, air support, artillery, electronic warfare, chemical and nuclear weapons. An innovative new asynchronous turn order means that OODA loops and various effects on C3 are accurately modeled as never before.

Locked in Current hex

Post by blackcloud6 »

If a unit is "locked in current hex by the scenario designer," how can I find out when the unit will be released?

blackcloud6, "Locked in Hex" means the unit cannot be moved to a new location during the setup phase.YOu should be able to issue orders and it should move/act at game start. "Inactive Units" do not become active until they spot an enemy or take fire. Hope that helps.
OTS is looking forward to Southern Storm getting released!

blackcloud,

"Locked" means you can't change what hex the unit starts in. So you can't move it to a different start location. You can give it a movement order during the setup phase.
