[1.06b7] Model Design Crash

Post by Nachtjager »

Sorry to be a squeaky wheel on here but I think I have a live one this time. Just upgraded to beta 7 and trying to select a new design to upgrade is crashing the game every time. I repeated the same crash three times in a row just now.

Steps to reproduce:

Org decisions > model design target > click 'start development' (I've only been clicking on infantry if that matters)
See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Any word on a fix for this Vic? It's holding up several MP games.

Sorry for the delay guys. Have been working like hell on a new big feature for SE. (which was also the cause of the crash btw)

I posted beta7b that should fix this problem.

I'll keep an eye on the forums the coming days to see if it is all ok now.
