Do Generals have longterm effects on troops?

Post by Bavre »

A rather in detail question and something that has been vexing me for a while: is there any benefit to leaving a unit under the same Generals command for a longer time or can you just switch your command structure from turn to turn to min-max the most out of it?

I've wondered the same (ideally they would) but from what I can tell they don't so you can reorganize all your units under different generals each turn.

It can definitely be beneficial to change them at times, and there is no long term benefit to a unit being commanded by the same HQ.
