Bought the game a few weeks ago and have been playing around while digesting the rules. First run vs the AI was with Spain and learned how to conquer minors but also that you should be very careful with your navy when twisting the tail of the lion.

Current game is Russia. The Turk jumped in on Austria in concert with France, but really should have been more concerned about me building up on his border. Now the question is how much I territory should I carve out of his hide before pivoting to support Prussia against Nappy.

The game has been a blast. I cannot imagine the difficulty you face trying to maintain / update 15 year old code, but your efforts are appreciated. Thank you.

Welcome! Good to hear. EIA is certainly a complicated game to learn but it's doable. It just takes a bit of time and effort, but it's worth it. And you're doing it right, playing as different major powers to learn their unique strengths and weaknesses.

Thanks. As frustrating as code development can be at times, it has given me something to focus on these past several years and, more importantly, these past several months when I really needed it.
