Unit List Window

Post by PzKw43 »

Using a 35" 4K monitor the Unit List window is too small. Changing the Windows Display Setting has no effect. Also changing the display settings when the game is in progress produces a white screen for the map. Please enlarge the Unit List window. For me its just not playable. The new large toolbar is great.

Thank you Jason! Game changer for an old timer like me. Started with East Front from TalonSoft. Hope the wait for East Front III 1939-1941 is not too long.

You're most welcome! I hope that helped!

The core of East Front III is there, just need to build the content. The content takes time.

sadly to read the "solution" - so it looks the UI is still not ready for native 4k (or larger) support and relay back on an "Win10/11 only" OS function .....(as the actual UI in CSME and CMO series that i have here)
good i have waitet with CSV ...... (and so DW2 will get on the waitlist)

No complains that with this adjusting it works nice ....
But the problem is ->
a, this adjusting is only available on Win10 or newer
b, is an OS option and i have "realy" expected that 2022 and many years after resolutions larger than FullHD become a thing, the programm self can fine adjust his own UI for resolutions larger than FullHD ....

As it actually looks - the UI is (for Campaign Series) still suited for Max. FullHD (or help from the OS is available) .....
I have already CSME, will wait after the update on it to decide if CSV an option for me ...
Dont get me wrong, CS is still one of the deepest and most detailed millitary simulators in this scale ....
but ... i get old GFX (from the 90') - old Audio (same years) - old UI style (same years) .... then I expect at least an up-to-date handling of screen resolutions that are around 2013 on an game engine that is 2022 relased - even from an small studio (as i get already not good GFX/Audio/Ui Style as tradeoff for the small Studio scale)
But this is only my view on this ....

I see your point, of course.

That being said, the graphics are all new. Sure, they have the similar style than before, but they are all new creations for both 3D and 2D.

Sounds are being worked on at the moment, some new ones will be available with the 1.10 UPDATE.

UI, there are some improvements.. and there are more improvements to come in the future.
