Air war allies torch to tunisia

Gary Grigsby’s War in the West 1943-45 is the most ambitious and detailed computer wargame on the Western Front of World War II ever made. Starting with the Summer 1943 invasions of Sicily and Italy and proceeding through the invasions of France and the drive into Germany, War in the West brings you all the Allied campaigns in Western Europe and the capability to re-fight the Western Front according to your plan.

Air war allies torch to tunisia

Post by sven6345789 »

I really tried every tactic. Ground support, ground attack, air superiority, attacking airfields.

no effect.

results every time:

I attack his airfields-> no effect
Axis AI attacks my airfields. I lose 60 planes in the air, and 80 on the ground

I try to interdict ONE Hex with everything, ALL Bombers i have, every day, SEVEN DAYS!!!! interdict level : 1

he attacks 5 hexes, interdict 6

useless, i will give it one more try, and then trash the scenario.

Not worth the frustration.

Well, Follow up to my rant.

I used my air assets the wrong way.

In the second try, i kept my fighter planes further back, checked where exactly the Luftwaffe was flying interdiction missions and send some spare fighters on air superiority missions.

Much better results this time.
