Cargo Questions - Aircraft, Ground Vehicles, Ships

I recently posted a thread called "Ports" to try and understand how they interact with cargo. Along those same lines, I have a test scenario which includes the following:

U.S. Aircraft (C-17 and C-130) taking off from Aviano Air Base in Italy and Ramstein Air Base in Germany and flying to Istanbul Turkey. I have two separate cargo missions, one for Aviano and one for Ramstein. The Aviano to Istanbul mission is a transfer mission and the aircraft unload their cargo (tanks, AFV's, iso containers, pallets etc..) automatically after landing. The Ramstein mission is a delivery mission, and the aircraft just fly to the area I have defined with reference points around the Istanbul airport, however they never land, and just RTB to Ramstein.

Is there a way to have the Ramstein aircraft land and unload their cargo? Does it have to be a transfer mission instead of a delivery mission?

As part of this test mission, I would like the unloaded cargo at the Istanbul Airport to be transported by vehicles to a nearby seaport, loaded onto ships, and then sent to a seaport in Alexandria, Egypt where the cargo is unloaded onto vehicles and then transported to a nearby military base where it is unloaded.

Is this sort of scenario possible with the current game engine? Is it possible to transfer cargo from the airport to vehicles? What sort of vehicles are in the database that would be capable of transporting tanks or AFV's, or large equipment along roads from an airport to a seaport?

My understanding of cargo 2.0 is that you will need a transfer mission in this case. In Cargo 2.o delivery is basically a combat drop. If the carrier is fixed wing and the cargo in not para-droppable the plane will RTB where a chopper of tilt-rotor can land and unload.

I haven't tried it but you should be able to set up multiple transfer missions across various platforms to transload cargo as per the pre-release blog post about "moving from factory to the front lines."
