Decisive Campaigns: Ardennes Offensive is the fourth wargame in the Decisive Campaign series. Covering the battles in the Ardennes between December 1944 and January 1945, it brings to life Operational wargaming by lowering the scale to just above tactical level.

Plan Martin Replacement table

The table ( #25) does not appear to have any slots for Axis Infantrie or Panzergrenadiers ( there is a slot for SS Panzergrenadiers)...

Is this on purpose?

Himmler took the best replacements for SS and Volksgrenadier, all the replacements by this time were ex-luftwaffe and ex-kriegsmarine young men with only few weeks training. The Very few real Infanterie or panzergrenadier veteran were wounded men returning from hospital in most cases as nco or staff. So i prefer to consider only SSpanzergrenadier and Volksgranadier. (The buildup of the VG Divisions were under the supervision of Himmler).

ok thx, will 'infantrie' units receive Volksgrenadier?

I dont see any artillery replacements either, 120 mm mortars etc... will there be any arty replacements?
