AI game play issues

Hello,

Recently installed patch version 05.00.00.10.

Game loads and starts without issue. Setup processes without issue. Game play proceeds to land combat without issue.

At land combat the combat phase will process to combat results. it will apply combat results but seems to stop there. For example it will not move to advance after combat. I cannot select the next battle, get this error:

"A land combat is being processed. The details of other combats are not available at this time"

I have started three AI games with the same result.

The AI is only rudimentarily coded. Actually I think, only the set-up of USSR in the Barbarossa scenario is coded so far. So no Allied impulse possible yet. And obviously implementation of LC results in Axis impulse is also not finished yet.
MWIF is a great game to be played with 2+ players per pbem or even solitaire to learn the game. There are doubts, there will be a playable AI in the foreseeable future.

Thanks for the reply.

Re-read Shane's post regarding the AI. If the AI is only code to the combat resolution phase then it is working very well.

Did receive unit over-stack warning after the German naval phase, the game stopped at unit degression phase.

Given the state of AI development I have some hopes for a decent AI for the game.
