1805 as Great Britain with v1.25.03 Release Candidate

I have been busy these past several weeks playtesting and making final adjustments to the AI computer opponent behaviors. Day after day I continued to see small issues that required further investigation and resolution. I've lost count how many rabbit holes I've been down. I think finally I've reached the point where things are all behaving to my satisfaction, at least most all of those things that have come to my attention.

This is the latest playtest I started yesterday and finished today, still making a few adjustments along the way. This was a hands-off game as Great Britain observing what the AI was doing. It was a fairly typical 1805 start up to August. Great Britain is allied with Prussia and Austria. Prussia and Austria are allied with each other. What you can see here is AI France - not at war yet with Prussia or Austria - starting to redeploy forces. Interesting...

In September 1805 France DOWs Prussia. AI Prussia begins withdrawing units to defend Berlin. France advances into Mecklenburg and also catches Pr II corps at Wurzburg, winning a 29:14 battle.

In October 1805, Prussia continues to defend Berlin and dispatches a small force to defend Dresden. France attacks Berlin at 83:72. Prussians hold and take 11 casualties, while smacking down France with 37 casualties. France attacks Dresden 26:3 and wins that battle.

So, after a relatively brief campaign, Prussia surrenders unconditionally to France in November 1805. Besides a 36-month enforced peace, Prussia dips down into Instability and loses control of 4 minors. But... the AI is a little smarter now to surrender before it's forces are totally eliminated. Notice also that AI Spain has taken Portugal and has just DOWed Morocco, and AI Turkey has taken Egypt and has just DOWed Cyrenaica. AI Russia has taken Sweden and has been redeploying forces back to Russia

This short playtest highlights a lot of nice AI improvements. Minor DOWs are working smoothly and lapses of war are rare. Preparations for war are now working and MPs will start redeploying forces to invasion points. Defense of capitals is better, not too much and not too little. Strategic advances and withdrawals are better. Naval actions for amphibious invasions and redeployments of overseas forces back to home nation are better. And lots more good stuff.

I believe I will have to add a new player to your pool.

Will all or your updates come with the store downloads for will I need to download them from another source.

I don't understand what you're asking about AAR elements or adding a new player to my pool?

The store download should have the latest official version with everything. v1.25.03 is the latest version. I posted a hotfix at https://www.matrixgames.com/forums/view ... 0&t=398597 to update the latest official version. I also posted a v1.26.00 Beta at https://www.matrixgames.com/forums/view ... 0&t=399888 with the latest updates. It's easy to download those zip files and extract (copy&paste) the updates into your EIA folder.

My guess Bill is he is saying that you have a new player in the EiA game and he is liking your game very much. I guess you could say I am in your "gamers that like what your doing pool" as well.
