Setunitside assistance? Beginner lua.

I am in the middle of making a scenario whe re e terrorist take over an undisclosed location but I want send troops in to rescue survivors but also take back the lost base.
Would it be possible to have a lua script where you can create a special action to select a friendly troop and a terrorist occupied hangar or building and change sides "back" to you/me/player?
