Wrong Upgrade of Planetary Fighter Base

I am playing humans, my spies stole Hive fighter tech from the Gizureans and now all my regular fighter bases want to upgrade to the hive ones even though they have worse capacity and no research upgrade path. I also seemingly lost ability to build the regular fighter bases as well.

The problem is that in the game files, the regular fighter base and the gizurean one both belong to the same family of PF. Upgrade versions also alternate within the family (i.e. Regular v1 - > Hive v1 - > regular v2 - > hive v2 etc).

I'm guessing you will "fix" the problem if you upgrade to Hive, then upgrade again to the next regular version.
