Partisans in Soviet Union while front line is in Berlin

If you look in the CaedusS vs. Robi151 server game, Soviets are about to take Berlin in 1943, and Romania etc has fallen, but there are still events firing for partisans around Orel etc.

So there should probably be a check that those areas actually be under German control in order for there to be partisans. Or (better yet), it should be harder for Soviets to win the game by so much that they can reach Berlin prior to 1944 in the first place.

That's interesting

But something I am finding very interesting is Partisan events keep firing up in my current game, granted I control Moscow, The Caucasus and a lot of the far North and rightly the Partisans should be doing chaos behind lines, but I seem to be getting rail depots destroyed in East Prussia, Germany proper, Romanian, Hungry and Czechoslovakia.

Now granted this a odd game and I guess the Axis should not be anywhere near where I am but still partisans attacking that far West seems odd, I can understand rail depots destroyed in Western Germany may be from Allied air raid events.

Thanks, it looks like the Central Area partisan event is missing a check to make sure the Germans are still in the area. Since it only creates SU partisan attacks, the event should be having no actual impact on the game if there are no German controlled hexes in those areas. We should add a check to that event.

As for the 2nd post, partisans don't attack in those non-Soviet areas, so I assume they are all linked to bombing events. They can go a long way from Foggia in Italy from 43 on, and even some from England. East Prussia sounds a bit far, but I'd need to see a save. Do you happen to have any saves before and after some damage was applied there that you could email to 2by3@2by3games.com or attach here?
